Bishop’s Castle Town Hall is an 18th Century Grade II* Listed Building open to the public, providing an information service for local people and visitors to the town; a location for local markets, local crafts and products; a community facility for meetings, and events; a licenced wedding venue and the home of the Town Council.
Visitor Information Centre
A Visitor Information service is open at the Town Hall from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Saturday. It is also opening on the following Sundays from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm or 4.00 pm
August – 19th, September – 2nd, 16th & 23rd, October – 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th.
So who is paying for the Town Hall? The Town Hall is paying for itself. The voluntary Town Hall Trust, a charity, has been running the building without any revenue support since June 2015. Read more
