With spectacular views of the town and countryside your guests will enjoy the sense of occasion that 250 years of history impart. There is a choice of two spaces in which the ceremony can be conducted: the Council Chamber with oak dais and elegant Georgian décor, or the light and airy Market Hall with arresting views through the south facing arched window.
Our staff are now very experienced with over 60 weddings behind them and many compliments from happy couples and guests. The venue is not large, but it is characterful and suited to intimate occasions for up to 70 guests. Facilities are also available for the use of outside caterers, with the option to hire the whole building if you wish.
We make access as easy as possible for decorating the venue in advance. The hallmark of our events is relaxation and enjoyment with many couples bringing family and friends in to create exactly the setting they want for their special day.
