‘The Hill and the Vale of Home’ by Andrew Fusek Peters

Andrew will share an entertaining and informative  evening of Leucistic Kites, Curlews, Great White Egrets, Hawfinches, Hobbies, Stoats, leaping salmon and the long haired fallow only discovered in 1953. He will also take us on a journey that sees the supermoon rising over Caradoc and the Milky Way reflected in the pools of the Long Mynd. His pictures regularly appear in the media and his books include Upland and Wilderland.

‘Upland is my kind of book. A passionately written and lavishly illustrated account of the natural history of one of Britain’s best kept secrets by a man who understands his subject. Andrew Fusek Peters has thrown his heart and soul into this book, and it shows’ Iolo Williams .
