Renaissance to Baroque Music a Concert with -VOX MAGICAE-

-VOX MAGICAE- are returning to Shropshire with another programme of exciting period music from the Renaissance to the Baroque. This year, the ensemble wishes to break the Victorian tradition of the concert aesthetic and ritual, and endeavour to portray music in a more historical setting with a modern twist. The young and pioneering ensemble shall give two sets of music, starting with the deep and romantic Renaissance, and then moving into the flourishing 17th century Baroque, and invite you to join them for a glass of wine (or two!) during the interval.

A note on the poster: The poster design is a joke on how Baroque music is commonly perceived as ‘old’, even though  we [-VOX MAGICAE-] believe music is retrospectively ageless, and that you are forever young at heart, no matter your age. So, we decided to combine the 17th century with poster designs commonly found on Shoreditch night clubs, Soho Jazz bars, and Student Union social events.
